About me

I’m a fully qualified proofreader and member of the Chartered Institute of Editors and Proofreaders (CIEP). Having passed their advanced ‘Proofreading 3’ course with distinction, I know how to produce texts that meet the highest editorial standards. I’m also committed to upholding the CIEP Code of Practice.

Previously, I was a research fellow at the University of Cambridge. My specialism is art history – I have a PhD in the subject and once worked at the National Gallery, London – but my interests are broad, and I enjoy working in various fields across the humanities and social sciences. I have been an independent scholar and writer, as well.

I mainly work on non-fiction texts (books, articles and dissertations), although I’m open to working on fiction, as well. I also proofread official documents and publications.
